Estate sale this weekend - FJ40 fs

Hsh has an fj40 listed on their sale in Peculiar, Mo this weekend. Appears to be 76-78. Hsh can be a little inconsistent with their pricing. Also, since it's not complete, they may list the doors and top separate..

I went to look a few years ago. I didn't know Glenn before that, but he's a super nice guy and I really felt for his situation. Unfortunately, what he had didn't meet my needs at the time. He kept several things in the basement and not the shed. They were in decent shape. The seats were in fantastic shape. The majority of the stuff was kept in the shed and didn't fare as well. The fiberglass tub is one of the cheaper options on the market. The frame has a good amount of c channel and angle iron repairs. He's owned it since new, but it's been wrecked a few times and has a salvage title. Of course that's not an issue for someone wanting to dedicate it to off road use.

Ditto. I ended up buying a few things from him. The 40 frame and tub are pretty rough and it has a V-8 IIRC.

I stopped by the sale today which happened to be 50% off day.. The cruiser had just sold minutes before I arrived. I overheard that it sold for $400? I didn't see the buyer. The seats were still in the basement - they had 1000 listed on them. even at half of that price, I had a hard time justifying that.

The wife and I did find some other goodies at the sale we had to bring home
