Hi all! Had anyone here purchased an engine from JER?

Is it a good idea to just buy a remanufactured engine than having it rebuilt?

If its Jasper engine rebuilders(JER) then yes I've used them twice. Had good luck w/ both their engines. I've used ATK and felt like I was straying a bit by using Jasper. I had one defect from ATK and it was 1 year after the install that a head gasket let loose. I called ATK and told them what happened,had a new gasket set two days later w/ a check for the labor. I've probably installed about 35 ATK motors by now.

I see that you can buy the long block for $2700...has anyone done this and liked it?
