Engine size and engine numbers (1 Viewer)

I have a question. When trying to import a bj40 from another country. Is it necessary to have the engine displacement size (3996cc) on the title or is the engine number enough for it to be imported into the US. The VIN on the frame arches but again the title does not say displacement. Is that something that is checked? Registering in texas.
