    anyone out there know what year my F engine is? The numbers on the side are

    1141 60031 34 and 11025 46

    Serial number of the engine is stamped into the block on a flat surface, right by the starter motor...


    These are casting numbers....



    SOR.com used to have a list of numbers and years for engines.

    Can you post some pics of the engine? :confused:

    How about some pics of all the different numbers on the left side of the block? :confused:

    We could tell a lot from that. With decent pics of all numbers, we can even tell the exact day of production. :cheers:

    Those numbers you posted are on the drivers side, cast into the iron. The number you want is on the other side on a lip behind the dizzy and below the coil, as Poser posed.
