Actually, I'm having all the lap siding replaced, rebuilding four dormers, and replacing a few portions of roof right now. There are contractors running all over the place, so I can't cut power yet.

Edit: Oh yeah, and I'm replacing the windows, too.
 
The work on the house has finished, for now. I pulled an additional foot of cable back to the box and wired it correctly. Everything works great! Thanks a lot Steve. Ya got a cold one waiting for you if you're ever down here. :beer:

Good advice, it looks like you could easily access everything so wiring your own welder outlet would not be too hard. I recommend running it up and back down or putting boards up so the wire doesn't get damaged or used to hold up tools. Your local hardware store should be able to hook you up with the proper parts.
