Curious to learn of a place where I can get Toyota OEM electrical plugs/connectors. Or do I need to get them from used rigs?

don't bother. WeatherPak plugs are superior in every way except for high density multi-pin connections (like the plug under the steering wheel connecting all that steering wheel stuff).

I need too. I searched “Toyota white electrical connectors” and found quite a few options, but haven’t pulled the trigger on actually ordering yet.

No. Either are fine. WeatherPak isn't the only good weather proof plug, it's just better than the unprotected Toyota plugs.
