Hey guys,
I was changing my e-brake handle this past weekend. One thing led to another and before I know it both seats and the center console are out so I can clean the carpet. When I removed the center console I found an electrical plug that is not in use. I searched the electrical FSM and could not identify it. I suspect this plug is used for power front seats (which I don't have) and might be listed in the '92 electrical FSM.
I would like to know what it is used for so I could possibly use this plug for a future electrical mod of some sort. "Knowing is half the battle" ;)

Can someone positively identify this plug or could someone check their '92 electrical FSM and see if it is listed?

Looks like a plug for the power button for the transmission. Do you have one of those? It will be two buttons on the top of the forward console deck, just right of the transfer case shifter.

techinfo.toyota. com has electrical manuals for each year model. $10 gets you a one day look / download time. I'm sure you can find it there with some searching.

That plug has been discussed before with the same intent as you have - aux power source. There's a thread out there somewhere but I wouldn't know what to tell you to use as a search key...sorry not much help.

I have a factory electrical wiring routing document if you want to look at it I'll email it to you. PM with your email if you want to look at it.
