You are a wise man! I went back and reread the post and your first line even called out the battery + terminal sepcifically. I'll buy you a beer or two if our paths ever cross!

No need... but, you really should clean up all those connections... they will continue to bite you over time.

Here is your problem. The WL (White / Light Blue) wire is the main power line between the IGN switch, Alternator and Ammeter.

Replace the connector or ask @Coolerman for an replacement.

Absolutely. There are quite a few things that I found that need to be fixed. I want to replace the harness but I'm not sure if I'm ready for that just yet. I plan on just making the needed repairs until I have $ and time for a new harness.
