Not sure if this has been posted yet (sorry if it's a double post). Built for the mining industry:

And another company:

That hit the rounds of some of my news feeds a while back, i think the range is what does it in for me something like 30 miles, fine for mines, not so fine for general use.

Have seen a few people cry about these on other sites in fear of 'loosing there v8's to eco warriors', being that Toyota have a partnership with Tesla id be pretty keen to see one though, especially if they're made in their factory and put to market, Teslas Model X has a range of 4-500km per charge, this being a bigger unit may effect that, but also may increase space for a larger battery pack?

I'm into it, they maybe not made for overland trips but will still have their place.

It sounds like for the time being these trucks are being built for mine use. Electric definitely makes sense underground.

"...being that Toyota had a partnership with Tesla..." and with the failure rate of Rav4 EV, you do NOT want tesla garbage in your Landcruiser. Its the opposite of what Landruiser is known for.
