Elaho Giant is BC's third largest Douglas fir tree. You'll need more than your 16" husky for this one.

Pretty tame, I was supposed to go out to see it last year and want to get it out of the way before the great weather starts. (Great weather, you can start anytime now...) Thinking of some exploration in the area afterwards.

Pretty tame, I was supposed to go out to see it last year and want to get it out of the way before the great weather starts. (Great weather, you can start anytime now...) Thinking of some exploration in the area afterwards.

There are some fantastic views up there, the road is very easy, saw cars parked at the start of the hike into the tree last time I was there. Not a lot of exploring other than that thought, a few roads up the side of the mountains into cut blocks with dead ends. Hut lake is up that way so you could try that.

Forgot to mention, stopped by snow. Got within 20 mins or so, past all other truck tracks to where just 1 lone set of quad tracks were. Followed it for a bit but it was hard pack, a few inches taller than my tires so had to turn around.
