Eibach shock install issues? (SOS SHOCK HELP)

My apologies to anyone reading this after me saying how good these shocks in another post. I installed mine and ran into the short post mount issue. I left out the upper OEM retainer to get the jamb nut on. It was a quick after work install and hit the road. Completely forgot about not installing the upper retainer until @ZG MN recently reached out to me with the same issue. I emailed Eibach and will see what they have to say. I haven't experienced any issues running without the upper retainer yet.

I think it was a 1/2 a$$ response saying how I shouldn't run them the way I installed them (the only way they would fit). I pulled them off and installed 41mm Tough Dog shocks.
