I always update the first post of my build journal with mods/maintenance ive done. I last edited it in Feb this year. I went to update it this morning and the edit button is gone. It is actually gone for all my posts in my journal, expect for one I made today.

Assuming there was a change where you cannot edit a post after X period of time?
Can this be changed back so I can update my journal as I go?

it's limited by usergroup (post count) since scammers/spammers will post content, then return later to edit the post to include spam/scam links.

Frankly, editing a post doesn't make your thread "new" to anyone on the forum, so making a new reply with the updates is 100% better for members reading those updates.
I had no idea that was an option. It doesn't appear in the OP of my build thread. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong spot but I assumed it would be in the bottom next to the "Report" link.

Yea I typically write up a new post with what was done, then go back and update the first post of my thread. Easier for me to see when things were done vs scrolling through the thread.

So its a post count thing. Gotcha. No idea what that number is and I know you won't share that for obvious reasons. Maybe one day I'll get to whatever number that is.

I would only think of editing the post to add bookmark links to posts within the thread. Well aware that editing doesn't make it new to anyone. Just could make it easier to navigate if the OP chose to go through the work.

*Edit-And chicken posts as I typed this out.
