EDIC mounting (1 Viewer)

I have acquired an EDIC for my 1978 h as it didn't come with one and i cant seem to figure out how it mount to the engine block ? I have tried every way it should go but it cant fit between the starter and the manifold and the the other way it hits on the start terminal. Can someone please send me a photo of there EDIC motor mounted

Electric diesel injection control

The little motor that controls the mechanical fuel injector pump.

I have a 2H, so don’t know how different it is from the H engine.

My EDIC mounts to the bottom of the intake manifold.

Yeah you would think it would Mount off the manifold but it is way off the rod would have to go up by 50mm to make it to the pump or the two bolt holes on the block but I cant get it past the starter motor

Try in the diesel forum. Might be someone else sporting an H engine that could take some “real time” pics to help out.
