Ebay CT20 cartridge

Anyone have any luck with these, or a complete ebay CT20 turbo? Im pretty sure mine is dead, as my intake is full of oil and my blow by isn't hooked up to it. I was thinking about taking my spare toyota in and getting it rebuild, but for the price of a ebay cartridge I could just replace it every year for 8 years.

Remember that the pre 1989 CT20 is different than the post 1989 CT20. The compressor/turbines are different sizes. I think your link is for the early one that won't fit.

Anyhow, I've been beating hard on my cheap Ebay CHRA for a couple years now and had no problems. So I'd say they're just fine.

Weird that it's showing as the same part number as the pre 1989 one you were looking at....

I wonder if your crazy power boost the other day was your engine running on engine oil from the turbo?

Not too sure.. Ive never seen my truck blow smoke ever... other then at night time when Im stomping on it and you can see it with the vehicle's headlights that are behind me, but it has always done that.

Ill order one of those cartridges tonight..
