Which direction does it power in on? Clockwise or Counterclockwise?

Depends upon what side of the winch you're on. From the right it should be turning counter clockwise and as logic would have it clockwise from the left.

IIRC, the drum pulls the cable in from the bottom.

yeah that helps, I got mine in pieces from the PO. (my brother) the side where the sticker is which indicates the line in direction is warn (soory for the pun) I just wanted to make sure the drum wasnt spooled backward.

BTW, My rebuild parts came today. Stoked up.

Easy way to get it right is that it spools in and out from the bottom of the spool.

I've never understood that. I have always tried to partner with the lab guys, after all they are part of the whole team. What the patient sees is usually not the part I did.
