early door help?

Ok just read through 10 + pages of threads,looking for info on early doors. I have a set ,but they are ming some parts,


One seems very complete but missing the part to keep window up,(the glass in it is original toyota glass fj25,printed on it)

the other is missing the window glass and and the part to hold glass it self(channel?)and piece to hold up window.

bothe are missing door pulls...
want to also replace all rubber seals /weather stripping....

any help finding a list of parts /pics of complete doors,


any help would be great thanks

Sounds like FJ 40 doors though, which arent that early

The "FJ25" may just be part of the part number. The hood hinges on my 64 FJ40 have a part number cast into them ans it starts with "FJ25...".

Have you looked at Specter's website/catalog?

easiest way to demonstrate what you're talking about. Sounds like you're missing the window regulator - but I'm a newbie and don't know much, that's just my guess...

I ordered all new weather stripping from cool cruisers (www.coolcruisers.com) I also ordered new door latches, and new bug catcher window weather stripping (www.sor.com)

IF I was you, I would definitely check out SOR.com and look at the door page...They should have pretty much all the parts you could need. If not, I would go to the parts needed section...SOR will also help you identify what year/series the doors are from, and what parts you are short on...

ok foxfab those are pretty early doors ,well my glass slides up and down not left to right, ,theres no crank you slide your window up by hand?I cant seem to get the pics post ed may be foxfab could try after i send them to him?

Those are very early 40 doors. Nerd and fox can say if they were on 25's if they slide up and down by hand...

hey thanks nuke.... those look just like mine what keeps the window up?you have a pic?i would need two of them,one window chanel and one glass...oh and two inside door pulls......

FWIW,
the door pulls and upper frame look identical to my 64 doors, so that may open up some options for sourcing parts.
