keep blowing up cv axles...time to swap, currently getting pieces and parts together.
so...anyone know the hole to hole measure of common leaf's for the front axle? working with a 91 mini, have a set of leaves out of the back of maybe a 90..?..sitting around, sure would be nice if they were an good length.
and yea, i do realize that i can make whatever i want work, as there'll be nothing there when i start assembly, but if i could avoid mounting hangers twice (assuming i replace the partially worked leaves at some point), it'd be nice. hope that made sense.
thanks for any input

Above is a thread with all you need to know about swapping toyota rear springs up front for sas or as a front spring.

89 to 94 pickups have longer rear springs 51" I think.

84-88 pickups have shorter more commonly run rear springs for rears up front at 47"

These mearsurements are taken along the top leaf. I have the shorter 47" springs up front my 89 pickup.

thanks...measured a friends 85...41 3/8 front c to c hole pattern, 41 1/2 rear...basically the same, difference could be tape operator error.

You will also find that the rear spring pack has a center pin that is about 2" forward of center.
