I'm just leaving Dubai to go to Oman now to pick her up

Then I'll break out the tape measure and see what kinda air conditioning we can pull off in this thing

So I got to take it for it's first drive today... When I agreed to buy it she wasn't working, but the previous owner actually went out and changed the fuel pump and battery for me

Still arranging transfer plates so I could only go around the block, but I'm loving it. At round-the-block-speeds there's no squeaks or rattles. I'm amazed. And the suspension is softer than I expected it to be...

These trucks are typically used for fishing, where they get driven in and out of salt water on a regular basis... these particular examples were actually in brilliant condition compared to what you normally find. But still, not as nice as my new lady-driven one

Tires are definitely on the to-do list. Wheels too probably.

Then the dash will be re-done with AC and new switches. Overhaul the electrics. (Should be an easy task, there isn't many).

Then some basic paint repairs.

Then bumpers and a Canopy in the rear. Like this - with canvas pulled tight over the top part. (this is actually a very custom Jeep wrangler)

Can't wait to get started. But will definitely be keeping it nice and clean
