One of the brackets that hold the glass to regulator broke. Looking around here it sounds like it's not that uncommon. New glass is on order from dealer. Anyone have any hints on how to get the old glass out and the new glass in. The FSM is great on how to take apart the door, but no info window removal.

The plastic clip that holds the glass to the regulator is designed to break away...as opposed to the glass shattering in the window-well. It's not available as a replacement piece and as such, unless you want to fab something, you have to replace the entire window/regulator assembly. Really sucks to spend $350 to fix a 50 cent plastic piece.
FYI- You have to reprogram the pinch protection feature BEFORE you put the door back together.

I have the glass already, and the instructions for reprogramming the pinch mechanism. I was just wondering if there were any tricks out there to get the glass in and out. I can porbably do it, but sometimes others have found tips to make it easier.
