Hey Folks, So I "treated" myself and ordered up a set of the 225w 9.5" LED driving/fog lights. These things are impressive for the money. No they are not ARB-quality (probably) but for $155 these are pretty nice. The main problem comes in with the beefiness. The pair weigh in at 22lbs..... yup.... 22lbs... So that leads me into my mounting dilemma...
How the he|| am I supposed to securely mount these things?.... Originally I figured on using the radiator core bracket but I fear it won't be strong enough and will end up destroying itself. I've looked at a bunch of 5th gen 4Runner ideas but none seem to make sense for the GXs.
I'm almost considering trying to get a TJM nudge bar just to mount the lights on; Go figure.... a $1000 bar just to mount $150 worth of lights....
Anyone have any ideas?
