Drivers seat forward/back binds initially

When moving the drivers seat forward or back, the seat binds initially and then “pops” and moves normally after that. It only happens after being in one position for a while.

I’m wondering if the tracks are gunked up or there is a problem with one of the motors. Has anyone encountered this?

I can find a bunch of info on 80 series seat problems but nothing on a 100. Any help is appreciated.

i had similar on my passenger seat. i did take the seat out , took it apart and cleaned out as much of the old dried out grease from the tracks as possible , which isn't easy.. did the same with the screw / worm gears. then applied fresh white lithium grease (not sure if that's the best type for seats) . its better, and it moves smoothly now, but its really slow. the old motors are really tired
