Hey Guys,

Finally finished up the parking brake and went to reinstall the rear drive shaft and its about 1/8-1/4" too long now. I don't know if its a combination of the OME lift kit and new U joints and it won't telescope in anymore. Is there a way to get the drive shaft to fit back in w/out loosening up the rear suspension...such as flex the rear end or raise the frame and let the suspension drop? The easier fix the better...
Thanks,
Kyle

Just wiped it down and put a thin film on. Its basically all the way in...only about 1/4" sticking out which would be all I need, but its not moving in any more. There is grease coming out the zerk. So maybe its just full enough to keep me from pushing it in any further.

That sounds weird. Id have thought that the lift would have made the drive shaft too short if anything. If its too long for whatever reason I wouldnt try to fit it in. Hate to have your suspension compress and it bottom out and send all that energy in to your tcase. I think they are fairly inexpensive to have a shaft re-tubed at a driveline shop if you need to.

Put up some pictures of the transmission! I think it's been moved back but i don't know much about your year.
