anyone have some fj60 drivelines or fj62? am i right that the flange on the fj60 is bigger that the 40? any help would be great thanks:grinpimp:

Give Marlin a call (Marlin Crawler). He has forgotten more about which drivelines fit what that most people would ever know. If not him, Jess at High Angle Drivelines. Either one of those guys would/should be able to answer any questions you might have.

That is one of the few areas, I am not sure about.

from Mud Tech trivia lots of good info on that page.

Driveshafts

FJ60 thru 1984 patterns match 4-speed FJ40 patterns
84 Minitruck front CV shaft pattern (CV end) matches 4-speed 40 pattern (opposite end does not)

Not sure if that answers you question.
Like Jack said give Jess a call.

well im going to put a 62 front axel in ( not sure what year) and a 1985 fj60 rear axel in my 65 fj45 and i figured that the flanges were different

Your '65 drive shaft flanges will be differant than the 60 series axles. For the most part, you can seprate the FJ flange bolt patterns by the number of splines on the pinion shaft. The early course spline flanges have a differant patter than the later fine spline flanges. There are aftermarket fine spline flanges that have both patters drilled in them, so your '65 shafts should bolt up to the 60 series fine spline pinions.

so who sells the aftermarket flange that has both patterns on it? i knew they were different but i didnt know if i could change the flange on the drive line that bolts to the pinion to a 60 flange
