Hal and Mal's Saturday 8/08/09.

Oh yeah! I'm there if we don't have drill.

No drill and I might drag Rooks up there with me. We probably need to get tickets huh?

Alright, the plan is to meet at Hal & Mals at 7:00pm for dinner and DBT afterwards. Everyone is welcome to meet us there. Hope some of yall can make it out.

Well, the Drive By Truckers show was "HOT" to say the least. Oh, i'd say about 95 degrees!

Yeah if turning the AC off was the plan to get people to drink more beer then it didn't work on me. I drank ice water for about an hour and a half. Probably for the best though. Also, the bands seemed to sound better 20 years ago in that place.

We couldn't stay. It was way to hot. The DBT were great and I'm sure they would have been fantastic if the HVAC worked.

Great seeing Todd. Hate he is going to miss Crawl. I guess we can all leave the duct tape at home.

Sounds awesome. Hate I missed it.

i would compare it to cranking the radio in a sauna.

For those who left early...and IIRC, that would be *everyone* but me :flipoff2:

Here's what ya missed:

You can either stream or download MP3s or FLACs

Really glad I drove down and got to see everyone! Truly sorry I'll be missing the Crawl, but its only one year and I'll be up to my old shenanigans next year! Deb, I'm trying to figure out the details of what we talked about, I'll keep you posted.

Jeff, in regards to the Crawl CD, thought about it on the way home and I vote for 72 (This Highway's Mean) as my best effort. Although 72 runs through the northern part of the state, the lyrics are analogous to ANY highway in the South.

Sorry about leaving! I'll know next time to wear a bathing suit. Good seeing you.

Later,

Jun 26, 2010 at Hal and Mals.

Maybe the ac will be working this year.
