@lechnito - Did you do the A-pillers to? That is where I was having water leak in.
I had a major issue with the primer I used and spent a lot of extra time resealing bits here and there. I'm not confident in it holding up long term and suspect that I'll redo this job next summer. It will be fine for this winter though. When I redo it I want to use the same 3M self leveling as you. I've seen it used before and it seems like the way to go.

I don't like doing bodywork.

My leak was coming from the top of the A pillar so I was really focused on getting both pillars fully sealed. I tested out the gutters today by driving out to the Oregon coast mountains in a rain storm and I'm happy to report the cabin stayed dry as a bone!

The 3m sealer was viscous enough to run over half way down the pillar so I ended up overfilling the first side and had to chip away at the resulting epoxy dam to get the trim reinstalled. I used more restraint on the other side and it turned out nice.

My only issue with the 3m sealer is that it sets in about 15 minutes which wasn't enough time for it to level out wherever there was an overlap. While the gutters are definitely sealed now, it certainly looks like an amateur did the job. I believe 3m makes a slower curing formula which is probably more forgiving.

The 2k primer I used was really simple to apply but I wish I spent more time masking because I got some inadvertent spray on the body. The rig needs a paint job anyway so I'm not sweating it too much.

Hit me up if you need to borrow the 3m applicator gun!
