I'm only considering this due to excessive rust in both rear corners of the cab (in the drip rail) my main problem is that my cruiser is actually a troopy cut down into a ute, so its a custom job on the back of the cab and I cant get replacement panels for it.Deleting the drip rail is surley going to weaken that area a ton. It's also where a heap of spot welds are from factory. I've never seen it done before, on a landcruiser but that doesn't mean that it hasn't been done. I imagine that Mr Toyota put it there for a very good reason.
