Drawer System for Land Cruiser – Looking for Input

I wanted to introduce myself and get some feedback. I’ve owned a few Land Cruisers over the years and currently drive a 2005 100 Series with 310K miles. I’m a woodworker and enjoy solving problems by nature, and I’m starting to design and build a drawer/storage system for my Land Cruiser. I looked for something already being built and found them either expensive and/or overly complicated. I have an industrial CNC router so I can make precision parts with relative ease. I have had so much fun in my shop, that I am planning to sell them in the coming months if there is interest.

I’d appreciate feedback and suggestions from those of you running drawers (or those who have decided against them):

• What don’t’ you like?
• What features are important to you?
• What would you change if you did it again?
