Dragging brake in 4lo?

When I'm in 4lo, my right rear sounds like the brake is dragging. When I'm in 4hi I do not hear it. Thoughts?

Most likely you are going slow enough in 4lo that you can hear it. Otherwise, it should make no difference to the brakes what gear your TC is in. Take the wheel off and see whats going on in there.

I had part of an ebrake assembly go bad once. Would cause a faint grinding noticeable in low range and only foward movement. Agree with half k. Open it up and poke around. Also make sure its not just a piece of gravel stuck in the shield.

I also had emergency brake parts inside the brake drum/rotor pop loose and were scraping around inside. I'm with the others take the wheel and brake drum/rotor off and have a look.
