Got a Magellan 500 for Xmas, and am learning how to use it. On thing I would like do more of is geocaching. We did it once and my daughter thought it was a blast. I am trying to load geocaching points from geocaching.com to my desktop and/or my GPS. It appears as though I need to load some software form the internet so my computer will do this. There are several to chose from, and I am wondering if anyone has a favorite. Also, any tips or tricks would be appreaciated, I'm new to GPS.
Thanks.

If you haven't done so already join the geocaching.com forums. It is the IH8mud of the geocaching world. There are a ton of friendly folks there that will get you going.

Easy GPS is the only SW, other than the stuff from Magellian, I have ever used.
I tend to only do caches in remote/difficult to access areas so I don't need to load a bunch of waypoints. I typicaly just enter coordinates by hand.

I started playing with GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife) it looks like what I would use if I needed to load sort a bunch of waypoints. My geocaching buddies swear by it.

Thanks for the info. Been looking around some more, and I like GSAK as well. Lots to learn though, but it will be fun. Beats working! HA! Stick it to the man!
