Door lock unlock themselves, when Cruiser is shut off

Where do I find this wiring harness and how do I access it? I've got the same issue and the dealership diagnosed the problem as the BCM (Body Control Module). Not only do my doors lock/unlock themselves but power is remaining on and draining my battery - I'm wondering if they're related.
Definitely could be if the doors are attempting to "sense" the position of the cylinders to respond to the alarm and BCM to tell it whats going on.
From my basic understanding of the system, the sensors tell the BCM what position each of the 3 locks is and then tell the system whether it should ARM the anti-theft or not. There are other troubleshooting routes that it takes to tell the system to ARM, DISARM or initiate the anti-theft protocols (setting off the alarm).

I have a similar issue where the locks are having a hard time determining which position what is in, so they go through a lock/unlock cycle that then makes the drivers side control switch be able to only LOCK the system until I turn the ignition on. I still need to go through the Electronic Wiring Diagram (EWD) book for my 98 LC to see where I can test but I have this feeling it is a combination of electrical issues (possibly with lock sensors) and the door lock actuator motors slowing down.

If you read through the door lock actuator thread you will see that many users have this where the motor does not completely unlock the physical lock switch, but its unlocked enough to allow the doors to open/close. This causes issues for the system as a whole as all three main doors (drivers door, front passenger and rear hatch) all have to be in sync.

I was combating this for a while with my aftermarket remote start/door lock control system and the stock system did not like it. Found out from the manufacturer that their documentation was inaccurate in that it would not "hijack" the system like the documentation eluded to, instead causing system issues. I do have slow door lock actuator motors on top of that, so mine is a combination of issues.

Can anyone provide a more detailed description or better yet a pic of the connector issue location in the tailgate? It looks like I will be tearing into this sooner rather than later, and a little more guidance would be appreciated.

Did you look in the EWD?

That's in the EWD
