Hey all,
Noob here working to take the doors off my 1972 FJ40 for the first time. I’ve seen other videos where they say that it’s easier to fold down the windshield to have enough room for the pin to be removed. That said, my cruiser looks like it has a seal on it that needs to be removed in order to fold down the windshield. Not sure if I need to remove that seal or if it’s worth the effort. I really would like to remove the doors but not sure how much of a pain it would be.
I made a movie to try and explain it, but could only post a screen shot. Hope that helps.
