Door Help-1991 4runner

Ok I feel a little stupid asking this but here we go.
1991 4runner 4door I'm trying to remove the interior door panels, I can't get the panel off the interior door handle (i did remove the little screw in the middle of the plastic cover around the handle. It appears to me the plastic cover is the main thing preventing me from removing the interior panel. help


BTW I bought this thing for parts I'm there is something you cant find I'll be parting it out as soon as I get what I need. The truck has grey interior and greenish grey paint, and the body/any metal part on the outside is trash.

Slide the trim piece forward as you pull it away from the door panel. The handle and its surround come off as one. There is a hook that catches the door panel. Once the piece is loose you need a needle nose pliers to detach the door latch rod from the part you are removing.
