Looking for some help. My door courtesy lights stopped working and I am hoping it is a blown fuse. This is for a 2011 LX. Does anyone happen to know which fuse supports these lights?

I know this is an old thread, but I have the same issue and the fuse looks ok. Running boards don't work with factory or led lights. They did before I did the replacement. All other lights - doors, interior etc, work fine. Any ideas anyone? I have an 09 LX

You said the fuse "looks" ok. Have you tried replacing it? That 5A fuse likes to blow when you replace any of the door lights as they are all energized whenever a door is open.

Fuse replaced. Still doesn’t work, makes no sense to me. Haven’t figured out the volt meter thing but every other bulb that was replaced with led works. It’s like there is no power going to the leads which also makes no sense..

Random thought. When I replaced my bulbs with led from superbrightleds.com I remember that some of my bulbs had to be rotated 180 degrees for them to work. Maybe give that a shot?

Ok random thought part deux. I know others with LCs have noticed a dead wiring harness near our kdss valves (ds just below rear door hinges approximately) that was believed to be for the LX's running boards lights even though it was on an LC. I think LC folks noticed this when doing a self install of sliders.

Obviously you don't have kdss but is that wiring harness in the same general area connected (maybe there are other harnesses elsewhere)? Don't have any photos, just recalling from other threads where that harness was spied. No idea why or how it could have been disconnected, but maybe a quick fix before busting out the multi meter and chasing down this wiring gremlin.

Ill have a look when I get back from work, but the chances of both being disconnected are pretty slim imo. They both worked before the bulb change and were not yanked on or anything. Driving me nuts lol!

Figured out the issue. One of the wires broke on the connector and I am guessing the other side doesn't work because they are connected somewhere. Ordering a new harness.

Nice job. Mind me asking the location of this connector?
