i'm looking at a 1969 fj45 that has a few issues and i was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on this. I realize it would be nice to show some pics, but i don't have any right now. I'll give you a brief description of the vehicle:
3 speed on the floor
approx 75,000miles on odometer
body looks in good shape, new paint, but some bubbling underneath in a few areas....definitely some bondo as the magnet doesn't take well in some areas
after market mirrors
electrical all works
thick undercoating--difficult to check the status of the frame
there is a smell of exhaust in the cab, which i think is odd because it has a fairly new exhaust(but i didn't check the manifold)
6 cylinder
windows all in good shape
comes with a soft top
ASKING PRice 11,500 thought i might offer 7,500
