Used a wire brush on a Dremel. Had it going for a while.

Was only half a moron thankfully cuz I had a face shield on, but still enjoyed picking out a hundred little wires from my favorite lumberjack shirt, one by one with tweezers...

And I'm sure another hundred will resurface periodically over the next few weeks...

This must be some sort of rite of passage, only my wire wheel was on the drill, vice dremel, but the result was the same; a bunch of little wires embedded in my work pants; cleans up the part in question just fine, but yeah... paying for it in wires stuck everywhere!
 
unfortunately my Dremel goes considerably faster than a drill and the wires were smaller than normal too so easier to break off after some work time...

so yea... best to keep the dremel wire brush for tiny jobs (this was not)
