so many assumptions
does it run and drive ok now with the engine placed as is? prpbbaly so. Dshafts a bit close here and there? Probably fine for highway driving.
AC work is AC work, relatively minor underhood work, which would have to be done if you were doing a DIY swap anyway
does the radiator leak? even if it does, $300 and an afternoon and its fixed, not months on a DIY engine swap
fuel system? some EFI rubber hose and a good pump....rock on. since its a 62, it already has an intank setup
$200 air intake if you must.....i'm sure it runs fine now.
I bought a 62 with an LS/5 speed swap that was done at a repuatble 'shop' that posts on this very site........and it had corners cut
but it was running and driving and I fixed the small stuff as I went. no wiring, cutting, grinding, cursing, or nickle and diming.
or, if it makes all sorts of weird noises and vibrations and smells when test driving....then walk away.
simple
swap was done a few years ago, and the current owner has put around 10K miles on it, so I would say there are no none issues
As far as price is was asking $26K, - Thats $26K with a 6.0 LS rust free original paint California truck . He reduced his ask to $22K
Regardless I passed on this one
