If you would like to auto zone will lend you a vac pump. Vac out your system and refill only takes about 2 cans of the 134. That way you can check for leaks remove air and moisture you vac for an hour then see if it holds vac. Then refill. Air in the system can cause trouble. And do not over fill. Can blow a hose. Wear safety glasses and use heavy gloves when working. Common leak area is compressor shaft. Do you see any signs of oil on any hoses or connections or compressor? The system in addition to refrigerant has small amount of lube oil

No everything is clean and my shop did add dye. Gonna check when my son is home this weekend. He has the light. But from now on I’ll do it if it needs 134a.
