TJDIV and Mancinator have two different problems althogher, huh.
TJDIV - sounds like you are on the right track to fix your wiring problem, since you are running stock components you don't need the load sensing flasher or any other LED b.s. I think you should run a headlight relay with a power source directly off the battery terminal or main power wire, turns should be fine without and it is less hassle. Maybe get rid of the fender/fram ground wires and run a dedicated ground to the signal lamps.
Manicinator - nice highjack dude! You really confused the hell out of me but my post above refers to what i personally did to my Cruiser to make the LED's flash. I keep the wiring straight on 6 semi trailers and a few goosenecks and the parts I used are a little expensive but you do it once and it lasts that way. If you are into hunting for individual compenents at your local Radio Shack, i'm sure you could do this cheaper than the route I took. My driver's can't replace Zener diodes at a truck stop but they can come up with the compenents I used. On that note, since we switched to LED's there has been no problems in the last two years even in the Donner summit salt and snow.
can anyone tell me why, if i hook up a circuit like this

that the light doenst flash? the flasher came with the wiring kit....so i would assume it works....i am so close to losing my mind....i would give anyhting to see a stupid light bulb flash.
the light bulb will light up when the power is on, but it just wont flash. i am perplexed.
btw it is a marker/turn signal light...single bulb...what im thinking is just putting seperate turn signals up and using the brake lights as brake lights instead of trying to get all functions crammed into one.
Dude you need the fawkin' trailer converter, this isn't that hard to do once you understand what is going on. They won't flash because your kit isn't built for LED's! LED lights draw hardly any amps, amp draw makes flashers flash. Heavy Duty just means load sensing, this has been covered really well on Pirate numerous times, what more do you really need to hear?

haha....you guys were all right....it just took a few days for my head to clear and figure out what was been said....i wasnt even goign to buy one until i saw it on the rack by chance. you guys are all genuises
