Do I need UCAs with OME 885s?

I know this topic has been covered before but it seems like there’s a lot of varying opinions on lift height and the need for UCAs. Specifically with 5100’s (lowest perch) and OME 885’s, how crucial are UCAs? Right now I’m at about 3” lift (just put them in), but I’m hoping it will settle to around 2.5” (when I bought them I was under the impression it would be a 2.5” lift). Has anyone ran this exact setup and not gotten aftermarket UCAs? For those that have, has the difference been crucial? I know it’ll be a bit harder to align but I’m wondering if the differences are major. Would really like to save money right now but if it’s gonna be horrible without them, I’d rather just get it over with then waste money on an alignment only to get UCAs in a few weeks and align it again. Any insight is appreciated.

Im using 885s with an ARB front bumper (no winch) and there is no true need for UCAs. However, I only raised the front, after settling, a little over 2". Alignment was no issue on my end.

Glad to hear you’ve been fine without them. Only difference is I don’t have any added weight in the front so I’m sure my lift will be slightly higher than you. Gonna take it to a 4x4 Toyota specialist today for an alignment and might just see what there opinion is also. Thanks for the reply.
