DIY Fan Bracket Pulley Replacement

I am currently putting new fan bracket. I am stuck with 2 bolts on the side of ac compressor. I can't seem to be able to thread the bolts on.

Any suggestion?

I'm doing mine right now. So the compressor has 3 bolts but you only need to take 2 off. There is a bracket on the bottom right side that has 2 bolts that go through it. Those 2 bolts are different lengths. Is that what you're referring to?

The 2 bolts are the top and bottom bracket.

Were you able to thread them back in? There shouldn't be a trick to them. Don't cross thread. And you can put anti seize or copper grease on the bolt threads to help guide it in.
