Wondering if anyone is running a LED flood or driving pattern light on a windshield bracket angled 45degrees off center

I noticed that this is a major blind spot for me at night on the backroads, especially with steep drop offs and fallen trees Poking out into the road.
Thinking that this will help visibility between 8o'clock and 11o'clock as well as between 4o'clock and 1o'clock.
Hoping that forward throw and thus hood glare will be minimum.
Most threads only focus on forward throw, that which im not so much interested.
Idealy i think a pair of lights mounted on the forward of the sliders would be at proper height and direction, but get ripped off way too easily.

Thoughts?

We have a couple customers that are running lights on the A-pillars facing out to the side of the vehicle and they well, you have to be really careful to turn them off when there is oncoming traffic though or else you are blinding people!

What vehicle would they be going on?
