Ditch light brackets for an FJ60/62. (1 Viewer)

Here is my dilemma. I made brackets out of roof straps but didn’t work as well as I thought, maybe it was my design or bends which did not hold very well. I currently am using a universal bracket but for the life of me, I have tightened these to the max and still do not look correct.

Any suggestions?

I was prototyping ditch light mounts a while ago but there was 0 interest, I should make a few and see how they do.

x2 on the pics. if i'm assuming correctly what material you used, the gauge is not heavy enough to carry weight. and probably not enough metal in width to form it enough to carry weight.
