Thought i might pass some good info.

For those of you close to toyota san juan you can now get a 20 percent discount on parts. Walk in there and ask for Sean Manning. Let him know you're from IH8MUD forum or toyota forum.

Sean's not as knowledgeable as CDAN but he'll give you that 20 percent off. oh and he is a dealer for AMSOIL. he can deliver to your door or you can pick it up.

i guess its good to have a neighbor that works at toyota parts department

Thanks for the heads up! I usually try to get parts there anyway since they are usually cheaper than Carlsbad and I pass by them fairly often while working. ...that is, when I dont use Cdan.

Met Sean when I took my daugher's Xa in for oil (free for life) on Friday. Had purchased brake pads for son's Tc a week before from another guy there and mentioned Sean and did indeed get the discount. Off what MSRP I couldn't tell you, but it was 20% off.

I'd still prefer to purchase from Dan for all the help he's been to me over the years, but in an emergency...it's nice to know.
