Hi ,are vdj79 ad hzj79 differentials different, what all do I have to replace if I fit a vdj79 diff on a hzj79 ?

The gear ratios will be different but the differential will otherwise be the same. Stock the hzj79 had 4.11 I believe and the vdj79 has 3.92 irrc. If you are talking about the whole axle, front is not gunna fit but the rear of the older vdj79 should
