OK, on the attached picure are two fuel tanks. The bottom is my old Cdn spec BJ70 tank, and the top is a replacement JDM tank from a 7* something.

The problem is that there are a different number of lines on each tank.

The Cdn one has what looks like 5 dumps and 1 pickup, and the JDM one has 3 dumps and 2 in the pickup spot (I'm guessing one is a dump and the bigger one is the pickup).

Should I just tee one of my extra lines into another one so the number of hoses will match?

Curious.
Craig.

Toyota dropped two vent ports on the later tanks.
See these two EPC pics, first one is early tank. second is the later JDM. Follow the dotted lines. splains it pretty good.
To me in it looks like the early tank, the vent line comes out of the filter thingy in and out of the missing spigots (why?)and then into the body cross member, the late JDM tank comes out of the plastic filter thingy and then direct into the body cross member.

If you want to see a complete late set up, I sent Wayne a JDM BJ74 tank/filler/hose set up last week.

Yes to the pickup spots: Larger diameter is fuel supply, and the smaller diameter is the return.
