Difference between Roll bars - 72 to 73 (1 Viewer)

I'm tracking down roll bar padding with summer on the way and I'm leaning towards SOR's since it comes with a cover.

But I have a 72 (stock) and SOR only sells padding from 9/73-9/77 and later.

I measured the bar earlier and it's close to 2 inches around. Will the 9/73-9/77 fit?

Is there a difference between the 9/73-9/77 roll bar circumference and that found on my 72?

Or did the actual shape of the roll bar change after 72?

If either one is the case, any suggestions?

One little thing..

72's did not come stock with a roll bar..

Post a pic of the bar and we can tell you who made it..

in january of 73 i bought a brand new 73 fj40 and it did not have a rollbar either but a freinds 74 did hope this helps by the way measure the tube for size and buy accordingly good luck
