diff protection and bling

I made some diff armour and a new oil pan.
Diff armour is one piece of 3/16 steel shaped to fit the diff. Stumpy has my template if anyone else wants to make a copy, talk to him (and send royalties my way). The oil pan is 1/4" 5000 series aluminum fully tigged with help from Titan yachts. If anyone is interested in a fancy and strong new oilpan for their 3B, let me know.

I called toyota, $640 and none in north america.

yeah that's what I mean, I called them on one a year or so ago, just had to laugh at the price.

then a certain calgarian tried to sell me a used one for 400....

Needless to say I politely declined hillbilly, and ended up patching the one I had...

I did a similar armor on my front diff but did 2 layers of 1/8" which was pretty easy.
