Went to the mountains this afternoon with the family. On the way home, I tried to engage the center diff lock. Didn't need it; I just like to keep it lubed. Well, I know it engaged, because the front tires grabed/broke loose on turns on the gravel road. However the diff lock and VSC OFF lights would not light on the dash. After about a hundred tries of pushing the button, going forward then reverse, high low, etc. It finally engaged with a loud pop.
After trying again when we got home, it was still hard to get to engage.
Any thoughts? When I say a hundred tries, I mean it. The thing would just not fully lock.
