I spent this weekend camping and exploring backwoods trails with friend. here's a few shots. Unfortunately I didn't take as many as I would have liked as I was behind the wheel most of the time.

I'd love to lead a few trucks down there. This abandoned sand and gravel pit was alot of fun. I almost got real stuck once.

We followed a rough trail with several deep creek crossings to arrive at a nice little campsite on the black creek near a big sand bar.

We also found this little spring fed lake down one of the many trails we wheeled. We saw bass swimming in the shallows the water was so clear. Nearly froze taking a swim.

I am sure the Mark H., Cam, Todd, and myself would join. Looks nice.

Sorry for the confusion. Desoto National Forest near Hattiesburg, MS.
They seem to have a good balance of unmaintained and FS roads. Some are closed but they leave a good many open. I passed by more than I could count which I want to explore.
