Desmogging an '84 2F

Engine is in and running fine I think. I'm not convinced the vacuum advance is working yet, trying to figure out how to test for it.

I have loads of parts, nuts and bolts left over. I'll be posting those in the classifieds soon. Most of the emissions stuff has been spoken for already. But I'll have a trans and t-case, manifolds etc for sale.

Can anyone tell me where this spacer came from/goes to? I'm vaguely remember it coming off one of the water lines attached to the PS side of the block.

Correct, there is one of those behind the heater pipe on each of the 2 side cover studs. If you had 2 complete engines, there will be 2 of them leftover.
